Professional Journey
-
B.S. in Psychology — 2021
Minor: Coaching
Academic Certificates: Movement Psychology & Sports Nutrition
My academic journey started at Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) in 2017, where I developed a solid foundation in psychology for my undergraduate studies while also exploring coaching, movement, and kinesiology. My education there introduced me to the intersection between psychological development, kinesiology, relationships, the psychology of beauty, and human flourishing.
-
M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling — 2023
Minor: Integrated Behavioral Health Care
At New Mexico State University (NMSU), my education shifted specifically toward clinical mental health counseling and the practical application of counseling development and skills. During my graduate training, I completed my counseling internship at the Aggie Health & Wellness Center, where I provided counseling services to undergraduate and graduate students.
This experience deepened my interest in working with college students as they navigate identity development, relationships, academic challenges, mental health concerns, life transitions, and the broader process of becoming who they want to become during the transition from high school to college, and then into the workforce.
During this period, I also had the opportunity to work with the New Mexico State University Football team during the 2022 season as part of the support staff for my work-scholar position, gaining an additional perspective on collegiate athletics and the environment surrounding student-athletes.
-
M.S. in Sport and Performance Psychology — 2025
My second master's degree at California Baptist University (CBU) allowed me to build upon my clinical foundation while specializing in the psychology of performance and sports psychology. I became particularly interested in how athletes develop confidence, focus, resilience, emotional regulation, mental toughness, mindfulness, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
As part of my graduate training, I completed a year-long Sport and Performance Psychology internship with the La Sierra University Men's Basketball program, working directly with collegiate athletes on mental performance development and skills.

Counselor Specialist at North Idaho College
Coeur d’Alene, Idaho — 2026
Today, I bring these experiences together from LCSC, NMSU, and CBU through my work as a Counselor Specialist at North Idaho College, while continuing to develop my professional interests in sport and performance psychology.
CIMA represents the next step in that journey: Creating a space where both mental health, mental performance, personal development, and human potential eventually intersect.
My goal is not simply to help someone perform better or overcome a particular challenge. It is to help individuals better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, develop the skills necessary to navigate adversity, and move toward the fullest version of what they are capable of becoming.
